- Serve as a patient advocate and provide support and guidance to patients and their families throughout their cardiovascular care journey.

Bachelor's Degree In Nursing (Bsn) From An Accredited Institution: A Bsn Is Typically Required For The Role Of A Registered Nurse Navigator, As It Provides The Necessary Knowledge And Skills To Effectively Navigate And Coordinate Patient Care.
Current Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Georgia: All Registered Nurse Navigators At Emory Healthcare Must Hold An Active Rn License In The State Of Georgia, Ensuring That They Are Legally Qualified To Practice Nursing.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Nursing Experience In Cardiology: As An Outpatient Cardiology Nurse Navigator, Candidates Should Have A Strong Background And Understanding Of Cardiology Nursing, Including Diagnostic And Therapeutic Procedures, Medication Management, And Patient Education.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Role Of A Nurse Navigator Involves Working Closely With Patients, Families, And Interdisciplinary Healthcare Teams. Therefore, Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential To Effectively Assess And Address Patient Needs.
