- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures.
- Utilize clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in the endoscopy unit.
- Administer medications and monitor patients' vital signs during procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure efficient and effective patient care.
- Educate patients and their families about the procedure, post-procedure care, and any potential complications.
- Maintain accurate and updated patient records and documentation.
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols.
- Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies necessary for endoscopic procedures.
- Stay current with advancements in endoscopy and participate in continuing education opportunities.

Valid Rn License: A Registered Nurse, Endoscopy At Emory Healthcare Must Possess A Valid Rn License From The State Of Georgia.
Bachelor's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Required For This Position, With Preference Given To Those With A Master's Degree.
Endoscopy Experience: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working In An Endoscopy Unit, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Bls And Acls Certification: Current Basic Life Support (Bls) And Advanced Cardiac Life Support (Acls) Certifications Are Required For This Role.
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Registered Nurse, Endoscopy, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Working With Patients, Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced Environment.
