  4. Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make necessary adjustments to improve outcomes.

  6. Stay current with advancements and changes in the healthcare field and incorporate this knowledge into educational programs.
  7. Coordinate and facilitate new nurse orientation and onboarding processes.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with external educational institutions to provide opportunities for ongoing education and professional development for nurses.
  9. Participate in performance improvement initiatives to ensure quality patient care.
  10. Serve as a role model for professionalism, clinical expertise, and continuous learning.
  11. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to promote interdisciplinary teamwork and a culture of learning.
  12. Maintain accurate records and documentation of educational activities and outcomes.
  13. Assist in the development and review of policies, procedures, and protocols related to nursing practice.
  14. Represent the organization at educational conferences, workshops, and seminars.
  15. Continuously seek opportunities for personal and professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nursing: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Nursing Is Typically Required For A Registered Nurse Educator Position. A Master's Degree In Nursing Or A Related Field Is Preferred.

  • Active Registered Nurse License: All Candidates Must Have An Active Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Georgia, Or Be Eligible For Licensure.

  • Clinical Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Clinical Experience As A Registered Nurse Is Typically Required For A Nurse Educator Position. Experience In A Variety Of Healthcare Settings Is Preferred.

  • Teaching And Education Experience: Previous Experience In Teaching Or Education Is Highly Desirable For A Nurse Educator Role. This Could Include Experience As A Clinical Instructor, Preceptor, Or Educator In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: A Registered Nurse Educator Must Have Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Teach And Mentor Students And Staff. They Must Also Be Able To Collaborate With Other Healthcare Professionals And Work Well In A Team Environment.
