
Radiation Oncology Imaging Specialist
At Emory Healthcare, we are looking for an experienced and compassionate Radiation Oncology Imaging Specialist to join our amazing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing imaging procedures using radiation oncology equipment and providing professional and technical expertise in the operation of imaging equipment to ensure accurate radiation oncology treatments.The ideal candidate will have an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology from an accredited college or university and registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). We’re looking for a highly organized team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, who is also comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. The Radiation Oncology Imaging Specialist must be able to work collaboratively and independently, and possess a strong work ethic.If you have the qualifications and experience we’re looking for, we’d love for you to join our team and help us continue to provide the highest quality care for our patients.
Responsibilities:
- Perform imaging procedures using radiation oncology equipment.
- Provide professional and technical expertise in the operation of imaging equipment to ensure accurate radiation oncology treatments.
- Monitor and adjust radiation oncology equipment to ensure proper functioning.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of imaging procedures.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to discuss and assess patient needs.
- Assist in the training of new staff members.
- Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with patients.
- Perform general administrative tasks as assigned.
- Stay up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiological Technology Or Related Field
Arrt Certification In Radiography
Current State Radiologic Technologist Licensure
Certified In The Radiation Therapy Field
Knowledge Of And Ability To Apply Radiation Oncology Imaging Principles
Knowledge Of Computerized Treatment Planning Systems
Ability To Work Collaboratively With Radiation Oncology Team
Excellent Communication And Customer Service Skills.
