- Stay abreast of current trends and advancements in healthcare quality and patient safety and incorporate them into the organization's practices.
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
- Serve as a resource and subject matter expert for quality and patient safety initiatives, providing education and training to staff as needed.
- Participate in executive-level meetings and present updates on the status of quality and patient safety initiatives.
- Report on key performance indicators related to quality and patient safety to leadership and make recommendations for improvement.
- Keep abreast of any changes in healthcare regulations and make necessary updates to policies and procedures.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and external agencies during audits and surveys.
- Foster a culture of transparency and open communication, encouraging reporting of any safety events or concerns.
Strong Knowledge And Experience In Quality Improvement Methodologies And Patient Safety Principles, Such As Lean Six Sigma, Just Culture, And Root Cause Analysis.
Proven Track Record Of Successfully Implementing Quality And Patient Safety Initiatives In A Healthcare Setting, Resulting In Improved Outcomes And Patient Satisfaction.
Excellent Leadership And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Multidisciplinary Teams And Engage Staff At All Levels Of The Organization.
In-Depth Understanding Of Regulatory And Accreditation Requirements Related To Quality And Patient Safety, Such As The Joint Commission And Cms Guidelines.
Advanced Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or A Related Field, With At Least 5 Years Of Experience In A Leadership Role Focused On Quality And Patient Safety.
