
Pharmacy Automation Specialist

Emory Healthcare is looking for a self-motivated, experienced professional to join our team as our Pharmacy Automation Specialist.In this role, you will have the opportunity to utilize your expertise to provide technical support, maintenance, and implementation of automated pharmacy systems. You will play a key role in ensuring that our pharmacy operations have the efficient and accurate systems they need to provide high-quality service.To be successful in this position, you should have the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, pharmacy informatics, or a related field; a minimum of two years of experience in a hospital pharmacy setting; extensive knowledge of automated pharmacy systems; and excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for automated pharmacy systems, including maintenance and implementation services.
- Ensure efficient and accurate systems are in place in the pharmacy to provide high-quality service.
- Monitor automated pharmacy systems for accuracy and efficiency.
- Investigate and troubleshoot any technical issues that arise.
- Train pharmacy staff on the use of automated pharmacy systems.
- Monitor and document automated system performance to identify any areas of improvement.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the successful implementation of automated pharmacy systems.
- Work closely with vendors to ensure the proper functionality and maintenance of automated systems.
- Maintain accurate records of automated system performance and maintain a log of system updates and modifications.
- Keep up to date with new technologies and industry trends in automated pharmacy systems.
