Job Description

We are looking for an experienced, motivated, and certified Personal Trainer to join our Emory Healthcare team on a PRN basis. Our ideal candidate is a passionate professional with a track record of helping clients reach their fitness goals. The successful candidate will have the knowledge, skills, and abilities to develop and implement safe, effective, and individualized exercise programs to meet the needs of each client. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing a positive experience for clients, demonstrating excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping others. To be successful in this role, the candidate must possess a current certification from a nationally recognized certifying organization, as well as have a minimum of two years experience in a health and fitness setting.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement safe, effective, and individualized exercise programs to meet the needs of each client • Perform assessments to determine clients’ fitness levels, assess progress, and adjust programs as needed • Monitor and motivate clients to ensure they stay on track with their fitness goals • Educate clients on proper form and technique, nutrition, fitness, and lifestyle habits • Provide guidance and support to clients to ensure their success • Ensure a positive experience for all clients by demonstrating excellent communication skills and a passion for helping others • Maintain a current certification from a nationally recognized certifying organization • Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in fitness, nutrition, and health • Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations set by the organization
