Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and detail-oriented Patient Services Coordinator to join Emory Healthcare’s team. The Patient Services Coordinator will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service to patients and families as they navigate the healthcare system. You will play a critical role in making sure our patients have a positive experience during their visit to our healthcare center. To be successful, you must have an aptitude for customer service, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate attitude. Experience in the medical field is a plus. Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality customer service to patients and families navigating the healthcare system.
  2. Respond to patient inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  3. Assist patients in understanding and accessing the services they need.
  4. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  5. Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
  6. Handle administrative tasks such as filing, printing, and data entry.
  7. Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure patient satisfaction.
  8. Follow up with patients to ensure their needs have been met.
  9. Remain current on healthcare regulations and procedures.
  10. Follow safety protocols and HIPAA regulations.
