  1. Lead and supervise a team of Patient Access Priority Engagement Specialists to ensure effective and efficient operations.
  2. Train, mentor and provide ongoing support to team members to promote a culture of excellence and patient-centered care.
  3. Collaborate with other departments and teams to ensure smooth and timely patient access to healthcare services.
  4. Develop and implement strategies to improve patient engagement and satisfaction.
  5. Monitor and analyze patient access data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
  6. Oversee scheduling and registration processes to minimize wait times and maximize efficiency.
  7. Communicate with patients and their families to provide information and address any concerns or issues.
  8. Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and guidelines.
  9. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve patient access processes.
  10. Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback to team members.
  11. Participate in meetings and committees to contribute to the overall success of Emory Healthcare.
  12. Assist in resolving any escalated patient access issues or complaints.
  13. Serve as a liaison between patients, providers, and staff to facilitate smooth and effective communication.
  14. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
  15. Perform other duties as assigned by the management to support the goals and objectives of Emory Healthcare.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In Patient Access, Customer Service, Or Healthcare Administration.

  • Proficient Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Insurance Verification, And Billing Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Engage With Patients, Team Members, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Strong Leadership Abilities, With Experience In Managing And Training A Team Of Patient Access Specialists.
