
Ophthalmic Photographer
At Emory Healthcare, we are looking for an experienced and skilled Ophthalmic Photographer to join our Eye Care team. You will be responsible for capturing images of eyes to evaluate, diagnose, and monitor eye diseases.The ideal candidate will have a solid background in photography and medical imaging, along with excellent communication and organizational skills. Responsibilities:
- Capture high-quality images of patients' eyes using specialized imaging equipment.
- Ensure that all images taken are clear and detailed for use in diagnosis and treatment.
- Maintain and operate imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety protocols when working with patients.
- Provide patient education on the imaging process and answer any questions they may have.
- Communicate effectively with ophthalmologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
- Maintain accurate patient records and document all imaging results.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations when handling patient information.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging techniques and technologies.
- Assist with other ophthalmic photography duties as needed.
