  1. Dispensing and compounding medications accurately and efficiently for patients during the overnight hours.
  2. Monitoring and reviewing medication orders to ensure appropriate dosing, interactions, and patient safety.
  3. Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical care.
  4. Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation of all medication-related activities.
  5. Educating patients and their caregivers on medication use, side effects, and potential interactions.
  6. Adhering to all state and federal regulations and policies related to pharmacy practice.
  7. Participating in medication reconciliation processes to ensure seamless transitions of care for patients.
  8. Providing drug information and clinical support to healthcare team members.
  9. Contributing to the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures.
  10. Identifying and reporting any medication errors or adverse drug reactions.
  11. Maintaining inventory and ordering medications and supplies as needed.
  12. Monitoring and enforcing compliance with medication storage and handling protocols.
  13. Participating in quality improvement initiatives and research projects to advance the field of pharmacy.
  14. Assisting with training and mentoring pharmacy students and residents.
  15. Staying updated on new medications, therapies, and regulations in the field of pharmacy.

Job Qualifications
  • Doctor Of Pharmacy (Pharmd) Degree From An Accredited Pharmacy School

  • Current And Active Pharmacist License In The State Of Georgia

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience Working As A Pharmacist In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting

  • Strong Knowledge Of Drug Therapy And Medication Management

  • Ability To Work Efficiently And Effectively In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment, Including Overnight Shifts And Weekends
