- Perform MRI scans and ensure images are of high quality for accurate diagnosis.
- Monitor patient's condition during the scan and respond to any adverse reactions.
- Maintain and operate MRI equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnoses.
- Maintain patient records and accurately document procedures and results.
- Educate and communicate with patients about the MRI procedure and address any concerns or questions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a sterile and organized work environment.
- Continuously update knowledge and skills through education and training to stay current with advancements in MRI technology.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and report any equipment malfunctions or shortages.
- Provide exceptional patient care and maintain a professional and compassionate attitude at all times.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ensure compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Take on additional responsibilities and tasks as assigned by superiors.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology Or A Related Field.
Certification From The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) In Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mri).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Mri Technologist.
Proficient In Operating And Troubleshooting Mri Equipment.
Strong Knowledge Of Anatomy And Physiology, As Well As Understanding Of Mri Safety Protocols.
