Job Description

Do you have a passion for helping others and a commitment to excellence? Emory Healthcare is currently seeking experienced MRI Technologists to join our world-class team. This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, while utilizing advanced medical imaging technology.To excel in this role, we require a minimum of 2 years of prior experience as an MRI Technologist, an active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and a current Georgia license in Radiologic Technology. In addition, the ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare patients for MRI scans in accordance with established protocols.
  2. Utilize advanced medical imaging technology to accurately capture and interpret MRI images.
  3. Utilize patient safety protocols to ensure the safety and comfort of all patients.
  4. Provide patient education and answer any questions regarding MRI scans.
  5. Maintain accurate and complete records of patient exams and results.
  6. Utilize communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with patients and other medical personnel.
  7. Assist with maintaining MRI equipment and reporting any malfunctions or repairs needed.
  8. Maintain current ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and a current Georgia license in Radiologic Technology.
