
MRI Technologist

This position offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, while utilizing advanced medical imaging technology.To excel in this role, we require a minimum of 2 years of prior experience as an MRI Technologist, an active American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and a current Georgia license in Radiologic Technology. In addition, the ideal candidate must possess excellent communication and customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare patients for MRI scans in accordance with established protocols.
- Utilize advanced medical imaging technology to accurately capture and interpret MRI images.
- Utilize patient safety protocols to ensure the safety and comfort of all patients.
- Provide patient education and answer any questions regarding MRI scans.
- Maintain accurate and complete records of patient exams and results.
- Utilize communication and customer service skills to effectively interact with patients and other medical personnel.
- Assist with maintaining MRI equipment and reporting any malfunctions or repairs needed.
- Maintain current ARRT certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) and a current Georgia license in Radiologic Technology.
