- Prepare patients for MRI scans by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Monitor and assess patients during scans to ensure their well-being and report any adverse reactions or complications to medical staff.
- Position patients correctly and select appropriate imaging techniques to obtain necessary images.

Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Certification From A Recognized Program In Mri Technology, Such As The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt) Or The American Registry Of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (Armrit).
Experience: A Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As An Mri Technician Is Preferred, With Experience In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting Being Highly Valued.
Knowledge Of Mri Equipment: The Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Mri Equipment, Including The Ability To Operate And Troubleshoot Various Types Of Machines And Software.
Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Mri Technicians At Emory Healthcare Are Expected To Work Closely With Patients, Doctors, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Therefore, Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role.
