  1. Oversee the daily operations of the MRI department, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  2. Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality standards for MRI imaging.
  3. Monitor and evaluate department performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective action plans.
  4. Manage and maintain budget for the MRI department, including equipment, supplies, and staffing.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
  6. Hire, train, and supervise a team of MRI technologists, providing ongoing support and mentorship to foster growth and development.
  7. Stay current on industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices in MRI imaging.
  8. Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards for MRI operations.
  9. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of equipment and supplies.
  10. Handle and resolve any patient or staff concerns or complaints related to the MRI department.
  11. Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to promote continuous improvement.
  12. Collaborate with the research and education departments to facilitate ongoing training and development for MRI technologists.
  13. Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as insurance companies and referring physicians, to promote and expand the services of the MRI department.
  14. Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure accurate and timely MRI images.
  15. Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring the MRI department is in compliance at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Mri Radiology Operations, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.

  • Certification In Mri By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).

  • Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With Experience Overseeing A Team Of Technicians And Support Staff.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Mri Equipment And Procedures, As Well As Regulatory And Safety Guidelines.
