- Oversee the daily operations of the MRI department, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain high-quality standards for MRI imaging.
- Monitor and evaluate department performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective action plans.
- Manage and maintain budget for the MRI department, including equipment, supplies, and staffing.
- Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
- Hire, train, and supervise a team of MRI technologists, providing ongoing support and mentorship to foster growth and development.
- Stay current on industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices in MRI imaging.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards for MRI operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of equipment and supplies.
- Handle and resolve any patient or staff concerns or complaints related to the MRI department.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff to promote continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with the research and education departments to facilitate ongoing training and development for MRI technologists.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, such as insurance companies and referring physicians, to promote and expand the services of the MRI department.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols to ensure accurate and timely MRI images.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and compliance requirements, ensuring the MRI department is in compliance at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Mri Radiology Operations, Preferably In A Hospital Setting.
Certification In Mri By The American Registry Of Radiologic Technologists (Arrt).
Strong Leadership And Management Skills, With Experience Overseeing A Team Of Technicians And Support Staff.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Mri Equipment And Procedures, As Well As Regulatory And Safety Guidelines.
