Provide compassionate care to patients with mental health conditions, including assessing their needs, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions.
Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure a holistic and coordinated approach to patient care.
Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.
Engage in regular communication with patients and their families to provide support and education about mental health disorders and treatment options.
Monitor and document patient progress and any changes in their condition, reporting any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Assist in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques when necessary.
Adhere to all ethical and legal standards, maintaining patient confidentiality and upholding professional boundaries.
Participate in ongoing training and development to stay current on best practices in mental health care.
Serve as a patient advocate, ensuring their rights are respected and their needs are met.
Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment by effectively communicating and collaborating with colleagues and superiors.

Job Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, Or A Related Field
Previous Experience Working In A Mental Health Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Clinical Setting
Knowledge Of Mental Health Disorders, Treatments, And Interventions
Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients And Their Families
Ability To Work In A Fast-Paced, High-Stress Environment And Handle Difficult Situations With Empathy And Professionalism.
