Medical Technologist, Flow Cytometry

We are looking for an experienced Medical Technologist with a specialty in Flow Cytometry to join our team at Emory Healthcare. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with outstanding communication and organizational skills who is dedicated to providing the highest quality of patient care. As part of our team, you will lead daily operations, analyze and interpret laboratory results, and perform complex clinical laboratory tests.The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology or a related field and be certified as a Medical Technologist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP). Additionally, at least two years of experience in Flow Cytometry testing is required. Our Medical Technologist must demonstrate a commitment to excellence, a positive attitude, and the ability to work well with a team.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead daily operations in laboratory
2. Analyze and interpret laboratory results
3. Perform complex clinical laboratory tests
4. Demonstrate commitment to excellence in all aspects of patient care
5. Maintain positive attitude when working with team
6. Maintain certification as a Medical Technologist by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP)
7. Utilize expertise in Flow Cytometry testing to ensure accurate results
8. Adhere to all safety and quality protocols in the laboratory
9. Keep up to date with new technologies and techniques
10. Assist with training new staff members
