Assist physicians and other healthcare providers in various medical procedures.
Ensure the highest level of patient comfort and safety during procedures.
Prepare and maintain medical equipment and supplies for procedures.
Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures.
Communicate effectively with patients to provide necessary information and instructions.
Document and maintain accurate medical records and patient information.
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive patient care.
Monitor and report any changes in patient condition to the healthcare team.
Handle and dispose of biohazardous materials according to established protocols.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality.
Attend trainings and stay updated on new medical procedures and techniques.
Provide support and assistance to patients and their families, addressing any questions or concerns.
Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining inventory.
Uphold Emory Healthcare's mission and values in all interactions with patients, colleagues, and the community.

Job Qualifications

Certified Medical Assistant (Cma) Credential From A Recognized Institution.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Proceduralist Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Proficiency In Electronic Medical Record (Emr) Systems And Knowledge Of Medical Coding And Billing.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Fast-Paced And Team-Oriented Environment.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Multitask, With A Focus On Maintaining Accuracy And Efficiency In All Procedures.
