Medical Assistant, Primary Care

Responsibilities:

1. Greet and check in patients, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed.
2. Assist physicians with patient examinations, treatments, and procedures.
3. Administer injections and medications, as directed by the physician.
4. Obtain and record patient vital signs, including height, weight, and blood pressure.
5. Prepare patient rooms prior to patient visits, stocking them with appropriate medical supplies.
6. Prepare and process lab specimens, ensuring proper labeling and handling.
7. Explain treatment procedures and medications to patients.
8. Schedule appointments and diagnostic tests for patients.
9. Ensure proper documentation of patient care and medical records.
10. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
