- Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the Neurology Clinic, including scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Serve as a liaison between the neurology team and other departments within the healthcare system to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Oversee the medical assisting staff and provide guidance and support to ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to clinic policies and procedures.
- Conduct training and orientation for new medical assistants, as well as ongoing education for existing staff to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Assist in the recruitment and selection process of new medical assistants to maintain a highly skilled and cohesive team.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels to support the clinic's needs.
- Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate and timely submission of patient claims and resolve any billing issues.
- Maintain patient records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies.
- Provide direct patient care as needed, including taking vitals, collecting specimens, and assisting with procedures.
- Continuously evaluate and improve clinic processes and procedures to enhance patient experience and optimize efficiency.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Management Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Medical Office Or Clinic Setting, Preferably In Neurology.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology, Procedures, And Documentation.
Strong Leadership And Organizational Skills.
Proficiency In Electronic Medical Records Systems And Microsoft Office.
