
Manager, Infection Prevention
We are seeking an experienced Infection Prevention Manager to join the team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of the infection prevention team, the Manager of Infection Prevention will be responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of policies, procedures, and programs that are designed to prevent and control infection. The ideal candidate for this position will be an organized, detail-oriented healthcare professional with a passion for providing excellent patient care.The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; have at least five years of experience in a healthcare setting; and possess current certification in Infection Control. In addition, they must demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills, be able to work independently and collaboratively, and possess knowledge of infection prevention and control principles.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and evaluate policies, procedures, and programs designed to prevent and control infection.
- Demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.
- Work independently and collaboratively with the infection prevention team.
- Possess knowledge of infection prevention and control principles.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of infection control practices and make recommendations for improvement.
- Educate healthcare staff on infection prevention and control practices.
- Develop strategies to reduce the risk of healthcare-associated infections.
- Track and analyze infection-related data.
- Prepare reports on infection control activities.
