  1. Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Microbiology department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow management.
  2. Ensure the accuracy and efficiency of all laboratory testing processes, adhering to strict quality control and regulatory standards.
  3. Lead and manage a team of laboratory technicians, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and productivity.
  4. Stay updated on the latest advancements and developments in the field of microbiology, implementing new technologies and techniques to improve laboratory operations.
  5. Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to provide timely and accurate test results for patient care.
  6. Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and protocols for the Microbiology department, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  7. Monitor and maintain inventory levels and equipment, ordering supplies and coordinating maintenance and repairs as needed.
  8. Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare providers, addressing any concerns or issues in a timely and professional manner.
  9. Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to foster a positive and productive work environment.
  10. Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and safety, adhering to all ethical and confidentiality standards.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Microbiology Or Related Field

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In A Microbiology Laboratory Setting

  • Strong Leadership Skills And Previous Experience Supervising A Team

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Laboratory Safety Protocols And Quality Control Procedures

  • Proficiency In Various Laboratory Techniques And Equipment, Including Pcr, Elisa, And Bacterial Culture Methods.
