
Internal Travel Wound Care Registered Nurse

- Provide specialized wound care to patients within Emory Healthcare system.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary wound care team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex wounds.
- Assess and monitor patients' wounds, including documentation of measurements, characteristics, and progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Educate patients and families on wound care management and prevention strategies.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team to ensure coordinated and compassionate care.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and protocols related to wound care.
- Stay up-to-date on current wound care practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
- Demonstrate a commitment to delivering quality patient care and promoting patient safety.
- Travel to different Emory Healthcare locations as needed to provide wound care services.
- Serve as a resource to other healthcare team members on wound care management and treatment.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and treatment plans.
- Comply with all regulatory and accreditation standards related to wound care.
Valid Rn License: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid Registered Nurse (Rn) License In The State Of Georgia Or Be Eligible For Licensure Through Endorsement.
Wound Care Certification: The Ideal Candidate Should Hold A Certification In Wound Care, Such As Cwocn, Cwcn, Or Cwon, To Demonstrate Expertise In The Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Wound Care: The Candidate Should Have At Least 2 Years Of Experience In Wound Care, With A Focus On Internal Travel Wound Care.
Strong Knowledge Of Wound Care Treatments And Procedures: The Candidate Should Have A Comprehensive Understanding Of Wound Care Treatments And Procedures, Including Debridement, Wound Vac Therapy, And Pressure Ulcer Prevention.
Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills: The Candidate Should Possess Strong Communication And Organizational Skills To Effectively Coordinate Wound Care Treatments For Patients And Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams.
