Infrastructure Engineer

Emory Healthcare is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the IT infrastructure that supports all of our healthcare services.We are looking for someone with a strong background in systems engineering and IT infrastructure, with a passion for working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving and communication skills, as well as experience working with a wide variety of technologies and stakeholders.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, as well as at least five years of experience in infrastructure engineering. The successful candidate should also have experience with Windows Server, Linux/Unix, virtualization, cloud, and storage solutions, as well as experience with scripting languages such as Bash and PowerShell. In addition, the candidate should have knowledge of network protocols, such as TCP/IP, and experience with network technologies, such as firewalls and routers. Responsibilities:

1. Develop and maintain the IT infrastructure that supports all of Emory Healthcare's services.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and network issues.
3. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure the successful deployment and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
4. Monitor and maintain the performance of IT systems and networks.
5. Implement and maintain security protocols to protect IT infrastructure.
6. Research and recommend technologies and solutions to improve IT infrastructure.
7. Create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
8. Plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
9. Assist in training and mentoring of junior staff members.
10. Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry.
