As an EPIC Analyst, you will play a crucial role in implementing and optimizing the EPIC electronic health record system for our organization, ultimately improving the quality of care for our patients.   1. Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to understand their needs and requirements for the EPIC electronic health record system.
  2. Perform in-depth analysis of current processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions using EPIC.
  3. Configure and customize EPIC to meet the specific needs of our organization, ensuring maximum efficiency and usability.
  4. Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, workflows, and processes.
  5. Train end-users on how to effectively use EPIC, including creating training materials and conducting training sessions.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to EPIC, ensuring minimal disruption to daily operations.
  7. Keep up-to-date with the latest EPIC updates, upgrades, and features, and make recommendations for their implementation.
  8. Collaborate with the IT department to ensure smooth integration of EPIC with other systems and applications.
  9. Collaborate with the data analytics team to develop and implement reporting and data analysis tools within EPIC.
  10. Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of EPIC and make recommendations for improvements and optimizations.
  11. Stay informed about healthcare industry trends and regulations to ensure EPIC compliance.
  12. Serve as a liaison between end-users and the IT department to communicate any changes, updates, or issues related to EPIC.
  13. Participate in meetings and presentations to provide updates on EPIC implementation and progress.
  14. Continuously assess and improve the user experience of EPIC for both patients and healthcare professionals.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations in handling patient information within EPIC.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Computer Science, Or Related Field.

  • 2-3 Years Of Experience Working With Epic Electronic Health Records System.

  • Epic Certification In One Or More Modules (E.g. Ambulatory, Inpatient, Revenue Cycle) Preferred.
