- Greet and welcome patients to the clinic with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Assist endocrinologists in providing high-quality care to patients with endocrine disorders.
- Take patient vitals, record medical histories, and assist with physical exams.
- Schedule appointments and follow-up visits for patients.
- Communicate with patients about their care plans and provide patient education as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Prepare exam rooms and equipment for patient visits.
- Order and stock necessary medical supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to all HIPAA and patient confidentiality guidelines.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive patient care.
- Stay current on advancements and best practices in endocrinology through ongoing education and training.
- Provide compassionate and empathetic support to patients and their families.
- Handle and resolve any patient concerns or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.

Completion Of A Medical Assistant Training Program: Candidates Should Have Completed A Medical Assistant Training Program From An Accredited Institution, Which Includes Courses In Anatomy, Medical Terminology, And Clinical Procedures.
Certification As A Medical Assistant: Applicants Should Have A Valid Certification As A Medical Assistant From A Recognized Organization Such As The American Association Of Medical Assistants (Aama) Or The American Medical Technologists (Amt).
Knowledge Of Endocrinology: A Solid Understanding Of Endocrine Disorders, Their Diagnosis, And Treatment Is Essential For This Role. Candidates Should Have Relevant Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Endocrinology.
Proficiency In Electronic Medical Records (Emr): Emory Healthcare Uses Electronic Medical Records For Patient Documentation And Management. Candidates Should Be Well-Versed In Using Emrs And Have Excellent Computer Skills.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Endocrinology Medical Assistants At Emory Healthcare Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Strong Communication, Interpersonal, And Customer Service Skills Are Essential For This Role.
