1. Provide high-quality and compassionate patient-centered care to patients in the Emergency Department.
2. Assess and monitor patients' conditions, including vital signs, and take appropriate action to address any changes.
3. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
5. Communicate effectively with patients and their families, providing them with education and support during their stay in the Emergency Department.
6. Remain calm and efficient in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple patients at once.
7. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, to ensure the safety and well-being of patients.
8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and document all interventions and treatments.
9. Serve as an advocate for patients, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
10. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with emergency medicine best practices and procedures.
11. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to continuously improve and streamline processes in the Emergency Department.
