  1. Develop and implement financial strategies and initiatives to support the organization's mission and goals.
  2. Oversee all financial operations and ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and policies.
  3. Manage the organization's budget and financial planning, providing regular reports and updates to senior management.
  4. Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for cost-saving measures and revenue generation.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure financial goals are aligned with organizational objectives.
  6. Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, insurance companies, and vendors.
  8. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, making recommendations for process improvements and cost-effective strategies.
  9. Conduct financial risk assessments and implement risk management strategies.
  10. Prepare and present financial reports to senior management and the board of directors.
  11. Ensure accurate and timely billing and collections processes.
  12. Monitor and track financial performance indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  13. Collaborate with the revenue cycle team to optimize revenue and minimize denials.
  14. Drive financial success by continuously seeking opportunities for revenue growth and cost savings.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and security of financial information.
  16. Represent the organization in financial matters with external partners, regulators, and auditors.
  17. Maintain a working knowledge of relevant healthcare laws and regulations and ensure compliance.
  18. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment that promotes teamwork and professional development.
  19. Participate in strategic planning and decision-making processes to support organizational growth and success.
  20. Perform any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by senior management.

Job Qualifications
  • Extensive Experience In Financial Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Proven Track Record Of At Least 10 Years In Financial Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting. They Should Possess A Deep Understanding Of Financial Principles, Regulations, And Best Practices.

  • Strong Leadership Skills: As A Director, Financial Operations, This Individual Will Be Responsible For Leading And Managing A Team. They Should Demonstrate Strong Leadership Skills, Including The Ability To Motivate And Develop Team Members, Delegate Tasks Effectively, And Make Strategic Decisions.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Healthcare Finance: In Addition To A General Understanding Of Financial Management, The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Unique Financial Challenges And Regulations In The Healthcare Industry. This Includes Knowledge Of Healthcare Reimbursement Models, Budgeting Processes, And Financial Reporting Requirements.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Director, Financial Operations Will Need To Collaborate With Various Stakeholders, Including Executive Leadership, Physicians, And Department Heads. They Should Possess Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Build And Maintain Relationships, Facilitate Effective Communication, And Negotiate With Stakeholders.

  • Advanced Degree In Finance Or Related Field: While Not Always Required, A Master's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field Can Be A Valuable Qualification For This Role.
