  1. Design and develop data infrastructure and systems to support the healthcare operations of Emory Healthcare.
  2. Maintain and optimize existing data infrastructure and systems to ensure high performance and reliability.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data needs and develop solutions to meet business requirements.
  4. Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  5. Develop and implement strategies for data acquisition, integration, and transformation from various sources.
  6. Build and maintain data pipelines to ensure timely and accurate data delivery.
  7. Monitor and troubleshoot data systems to identify and resolve any issues.
  8. Develop and implement data quality and validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
  9. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in data engineering and healthcare to drive innovation within the organization.
  10. Communicate complex technical concepts and findings to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
  11. Mentor and coach junior data engineers to support their professional development.
  12. Adhere to data security and privacy regulations to maintain the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive healthcare data.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve data processes and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Collaborate with the data analytics and business intelligence team to support their data needs.
  15. Proactively identify opportunities to leverage data to improve healthcare operations and patient outcomes.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum 5 Years Of Experience In Data Engineering, Data Architecture, Or A Similar Role.

  • Proficient In Programming Languages Such As Sql, Python, And Java.

  • Extensive Experience With Database Management Systems, Data Warehousing, And Data Modeling.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Design And Implement Complex Data Solutions.
