
Cytotechnologist / PRN

- Perform diagnostic evaluations of cells and tissues using various laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Analyze and interpret test results accurately and efficiently.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory slides and specimens for examination.
- Report any abnormal findings to supervising pathologist or healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procedures and results.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures in the laboratory.
- Stay updated on current industry standards and advancements in cytotechnology.
- Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Participate in quality control and quality assurance activities to ensure accurate and reliable results.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families during the testing process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all ethical and legal guidelines in the performance of duties.
- Attend trainings and meetings as required by the organization.
- Keep track of inventory and order necessary supplies.
- Maintain confidentiality of all patient information.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting
Bachelor's Degree In Cytotechnology Or Related Field
Certification From The American Society For Clinical Pathology (Ascp)
Knowledge Of Cytology Techniques, Equipment, And Procedures
Ability To Work Independently And As Part Of A Team, With A Strong Attention To Detail And Accuracy.
