We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Complex Scheduler. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our patient care process by managing complex scheduling requests and ensuring efficient and accurate appointment bookings.   1. Schedule appointments for complex and high-risk patients in a timely and efficient manner.
  2. Manage and prioritize multiple scheduling requests while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
  3. Communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members to ensure seamless appointment bookings.
  4. Utilize electronic medical record systems to accurately input and update patient information.
  5. Collaborate with other schedulers and departments to coordinate and schedule appointments for patients requiring multiple specialists or procedures.
  6. Proactively identify and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues that may arise.
  7. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations when handling patient information.
  8. Continuously monitor and adjust schedules to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  9. Provide exceptional customer service to patients, families, and healthcare providers.
  10. Stay up-to-date on all departmental and organizational policies and procedures related to scheduling.
  11. Assist with training and mentoring new team members.
  12. Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance the patient scheduling experience.
  13. Maintain accurate and organized records of all scheduling activities.
  14. Handle any other administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Scheduling And Coordinating Complex Healthcare Appointments.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And The Ability To Understand Complex Medical Procedures.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Coordinate With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals.

  • Proficiency In Computer Software Programs Such As Scheduling And Electronic Medical Records Systems.
