Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Clinical Dietitian to join our team at Emory Healthcare. In this role, you will be responsible for providing nutrition care services to patients in a variety of healthcare settings. As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be a vital part of our healthcare team, helping to ensure that our patients receive the nutritional care they need to fully recover and return to their everyday lives.To be successful in this role, you should have at least a Bachelor's degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or a related field, as well as a Registered Dietitian (RD) certification. You should also have at least two years of experience in a clinical setting. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will be working closely with patients and their families, as well as other healthcare professionals. Most importantly, you must have a strong commitment to providing the highest quality of care and service to our patients.

Responsibilities:

Assess and evaluate individual patient nutritional needs
Develop and implement individual nutrition care plans
Monitor patient progress and modify plans of care as needed
Educate patients and their families about nutrition and healthy eating habits
Conduct individual and group nutrition counseling sessions
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations
Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical nutrition trends
Assist with the development and implementation of nutrition-related programs and initiatives
