  1. Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments for patients to determine their individualized nutritional needs.
  2. Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for patients based on their medical conditions, dietary restrictions, and personal preferences.
  3. Provide nutrition education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and lifestyle modifications.
  4. Collaborate with healthcare team members, including physicians and nurses, to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
  5. Monitor and evaluate patients' progress and adjust nutrition plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.
  6. Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in clinical nutrition to continuously improve patient care.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and progress.
  8. Adhere to all regulatory and safety standards in the provision of nutrition care.
  9. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of nutrition-related policies and procedures.
  10. Serve as a resource for other healthcare professionals and provide consultation on nutrition-related matters.
  11. Participate in community outreach programs and represent Emory Healthcare as a nutrition expert.
  12. Continuously strive to enhance patient satisfaction and contribute to the overall quality of care provided by Emory Healthcare.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Registered Dietitian (Rd) Certification From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Clinical Setting, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Facility.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Medical Nutrition Therapy, Including Experience With Various Disease States And Nutrition Support.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Healthcare Team.
