  1. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, such as echocardiograms, stress tests, and electrocardiograms, to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease.
  2. Operate and maintain specialized equipment used in cardiovascular procedures, ensuring accuracy and quality of images.
  3. Monitor patient vital signs and communicate any abnormalities to the healthcare team.
  4. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
  5. Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures and provide support and reassurance as needed.
  6. Review and evaluate images and data obtained during procedures, identifying any abnormalities or areas of concern.
  7. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans based on test results.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of procedures and patient information for medical documentation.
  9. Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control measures to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment.
  10. Attend and actively participate in departmental meetings and training sessions to stay updated on new techniques and technology in the field of cardiovascular medicine.
  11. Keep inventory of supplies and equipment, and notify appropriate personnel when supplies need to be restocked or equipment needs maintenance.
  12. Maintain a professional and compassionate demeanor when interacting with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  13. Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and stay abreast of advancements in the field of cardiovascular technology.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Cardiovascular Technology, Nursing, Or A Related Field From An Accredited Institution.

  • Certification As A Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (Rcis) Or Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (Rcvt) Through The Cardiovascular Credentialing International (Cci).

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In A Cardiovascular Technologist Role, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Proficiency In Operating And Maintaining Cardiovascular Equipment, Such As Ultrasound Machines, X-Ray Machines, And Electrocardiogram (Ecg) Machines.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Interact With Patients, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals In A Fast-Paced Environment.
