Cardiac Monitor Technician

Required Qualifications:- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification- Minimum of two years' experience as a Cardiac Monitor Technician- Ability to interpret and accurately record cardiac rhythms and vital signs- Working knowledge of cardiac medications and their effects on cardiac rhythm- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor, interpret, and record patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs in accordance with established medical protocols.
2. Ensure all cardiac rhythm recordings are accurately documented and communicated to the medical team.
3. Monitor patients for any changes in cardiac rhythms and vital signs and take appropriate action as needed.
4. Administer medications as prescribed by the physician and document all medications administered.
5. Ensure patient safety by responding quickly and accurately to any changes or abnormalities in cardiac rhythms or vital signs.
6. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patients' cardiac rhythms and vital signs.
7. Provide patient education and guidance on cardiac medications and their effects on the heart.
8. Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor with all staff and patients.
9. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
10. Follow all safety protocols and adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
