  1. Conduct pharmacovigilance activities, including monitoring and evaluation of adverse events, in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of adverse events to regulatory authorities.
  3. Participate in the development and maintenance of pharmacovigilance processes and procedures.
  4. Review and analyze safety data to identify potential safety signals and trends.
  5. Manage and maintain pharmacovigilance databases and systems.
  6. Provide guidance and support to other team members on pharmacovigilance regulations and processes.
  7. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and regulatory agencies, regarding adverse event reporting and safety data.
  8. Review and contribute to safety sections of clinical trial protocols, study reports, and other relevant documents.
  9. Assist in the preparation and submission of periodic safety reports to regulatory agencies.
  10. Stay up-to-date with pharmacovigilance regulations and industry trends, and propose process improvements as needed.
  11. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all pharmacovigilance activities.
  12. Actively participate in training and development programs to enhance pharmacovigilance knowledge and skills.
  13. Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety, health, and environmental practices.
  14. Foster a culture of patient safety and quality within the organization.
  15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Knowledge Of Drug Safety Regulations And Guidelines: A Pharmacovigilance Specialist At Eli Lilly And Company Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Global And Local Regulations Related To Pharmacovigilance, Including Fda And Ema Guidelines.

  • Experience With Adverse Event Reporting And Signal Detection: The Ideal Candidate Should Have Experience In Managing Adverse Event Reporting And Signal Detection Processes, Including Case Processing And Analysis Of Safety Data.

  • Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Pharmacovigilance Specialist Should Be Able To Analyze Complex Safety Data, Identify Potential Safety Concerns, And Propose Solutions To Mitigate Risks.

  • Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Pharmacovigilance Specialist, The Ability To Effectively Communicate And Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams, Including Medical, Regulatory, And Clinical, Is Essential For Ensuring The Safety Of Pharmaceutical Products.

  • Pharmacovigilance Experience In A Pharmaceutical Company: Previous Experience In Pharmacovigilance In A Pharmaceutical Company Is Highly Desirable, As It Demonstrates A Deep Understanding Of Drug Development Processes And The Ability To Apply Safety Principles In A Real-World Setting.
