
Pharmacovigilance Specialist

- Monitor and evaluate the safety of pharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and guidelines
- Conduct thorough and timely review and analysis of adverse events, medical literature, and other safety data to identify potential safety concerns
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical, regulatory, and quality, to ensure timely reporting and management of safety issues
- Develop and maintain risk management plans for products, including signal detection and risk mitigation strategies
- Prepare and submit periodic safety reports to regulatory authorities in accordance with applicable regulations and guidelines
- Stay current on industry trends and regulations related to pharmacovigilance and make recommendations for process improvements as necessary
- Serve as a subject matter expert on pharmacovigilance for internal and external stakeholders, including healthcare professionals and regulatory agencies
- Participate in the development and implementation of safety training programs for employees
- Maintain accurate and complete documentation of all pharmacovigilance activities in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of pharmacovigilance processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
- Act as a liaison between cross-functional teams and external partners, providing timely and accurate safety information as needed.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Pharmacy, Pharmacology, Or Life Sciences.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In The Pharmaceutical Industry, With A Focus On Pharmacovigilance And Drug Safety.
Strong Knowledge Of Regulatory Requirements And Guidelines Related To Pharmacovigilance, Including Fda And International Regulations.
Experience With Adverse Event Reporting, Signal Detection, And Risk Management Activities.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Team Environment And Interact With Cross-Functional Teams.
