- Conduct thorough research and analysis of scientific and medical literature to support the development of medical information for Eli Lilly and Company products.
- Write, review, and edit medical and scientific documents, including but not limited to clinical study reports, regulatory submissions, and educational materials, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and compliance with company and industry standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical affairs, clinical development, regulatory affairs, and marketing, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and content.
- Continuously stay updated on the latest medical and scientific advancements, regulatory guidelines, and industry trends to ensure the accuracy and relevance of written materials.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external subject matter experts to gather necessary information and ensure the scientific accuracy of written materials.
- Assist in the development and review of scientific presentations and publications, including abstracts, posters, and manuscripts.
- Participate in internal and external meetings and conferences to present and discuss medical writing projects and provide scientific expertise.
- Ensure all written materials are compliant with relevant regulations, guidelines, and internal processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and maintain templates, style guides, and other tools to ensure consistency and quality in written materials.
- Maintain a strong attention to detail and quality control to ensure accuracy and completeness of written materials.
- Adhere to project timelines and manage multiple writing projects simultaneously.
- Participate in training and mentorship programs to continue to develop and enhance medical writing skills.
- Uphold the company's mission, values, and ethics in all written materials and interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the medical writing function within the company.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Or Journalism.
2-3 Years Of Experience In Medical Writing, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Fda Regulations And Guidelines For Clinical Research And Drug Development.
Excellent Writing And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Translate Complex Scientific Information Into Clear And Concise Language.
Familiarity With Various Document Types And Formats, Such As Clinical Study Reports, Regulatory Submissions, And Patient Education Materials.
