- Serve as a key liaison between Eli Lilly and Company and healthcare professionals, including key opinion leaders, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the medical community, including physicians, researchers, and healthcare organizations.
- Provide scientific and medical expertise to support the development and promotion of Eli Lilly's pharmaceutical products and treatments.
- Stay informed about current medical and scientific literature, as well as competitor products and developments, to effectively communicate and differentiate Eli Lilly's products.
- Act as a resource to healthcare professionals by providing accurate and evidence-based information on products, disease states, and treatment options.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute medical strategies and initiatives.
- Identify and develop relationships with potential investigators for clinical trials and facilitate the exchange of information between Eli Lilly and these individuals.
- Attend and participate in medical conferences, symposiums, and other events to stay updated on the latest advancements in the medical field and represent Eli Lilly.
- Provide training and education to internal teams, including sales and marketing, on scientific and medical topics related to Eli Lilly's products.
- Adhere to all ethical, regulatory, and legal guidelines while performing job duties.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the impact of the Medical Science Liaison role within the organization.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interactions with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
- Monitor and report on competitor activities and market trends to inform decision-making.
- Travel as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities, including attending conferences, meetings, and other events.
Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field (E.g. Phd, Pharmd, Md)
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In The Pharmaceutical Or Biotech Industry
Expertise In A Specific Therapeutic Area Related To Eli Lilly's Portfolio
Strong Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Scientific Information To A Variety Of Audiences
Demonstrated Experience In Building And Maintaining Relationships With Key Opinion Leaders And Healthcare Professionals.
