1. Serve as a key liaison between Eli Lilly and Company and healthcare professionals, including key opinion leaders, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the medical community, including physicians, researchers, and healthcare organizations.
3. Provide scientific and medical expertise to support the development and promotion of Eli Lilly's pharmaceutical products and treatments.
4. Stay informed about current medical and scientific literature, as well as competitor products and developments, to effectively communicate and differentiate Eli Lilly's products.
5. Act as a resource to healthcare professionals by providing accurate and evidence-based information on products, disease states, and treatment options.
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute medical strategies and initiatives.
7. Identify and develop relationships with potential investigators for clinical trials and facilitate the exchange of information between Eli Lilly and these individuals.
8. Attend and participate in medical conferences, symposiums, and other events to stay updated on the latest advancements in the medical field and represent Eli Lilly.
9. Provide training and education to internal teams, including sales and marketing, on scientific and medical topics related to Eli Lilly's products.
10. Adhere to all ethical, regulatory, and legal guidelines while performing job duties.
11. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and enhance the impact of the Medical Science Liaison role within the organization.
12. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of interactions with healthcare professionals and other stakeholders.
13. Monitor and report on competitor activities and market trends to inform decision-making.
14. Travel as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities, including attending conferences, meetings, and other events.
