- Monitor and analyze adverse events reported for Eli Lilly and Company products to ensure patient safety and product efficacy.
- Utilize pharmacovigilance principles and knowledge of drug safety regulations to review and assess individual case safety reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting of adverse events to regulatory agencies.
- Conduct thorough investigations and follow-up on adverse events, including querying healthcare professionals and patients for additional information.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety data in the company's global safety database.
- Identify and escalate potential safety concerns and issues to management.
- Stay current with industry best practices and regulatory requirements related to drug safety.
- Assist in the preparation of safety reports and submissions to regulatory agencies.
- Participate in company trainings and provide guidance to colleagues on drug safety processes and procedures.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of drug safety activities.
- Provide support during regulatory inspections and audits related to drug safety.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and standards related to drug safety.
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient safety and product quality.
- Maintain confidentiality of patient information and adhere to all data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with external partners, including contract research organizations and vendors, to ensure timely and accurate exchange of safety data.
Bachelor's Degree In A Scientific Or Healthcare-Related Field, Such As Pharmacology, Toxicology, Or Pharmacy.
Knowledge Of Drug Safety Regulations And Guidelines, Including Fda And Ich Guidelines.
Prior Experience In Pharmacovigilance Or Drug Safety, Preferably Within The Pharmaceutical Industry.
Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Analyze Complex Data.
Excellent Communication Skills, Both Written And Verbal, For Effective Interaction With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.
