- Conduct thorough and timely review of adverse event reports in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze safety data from clinical trials and post-marketing sources, identify potential safety issues, and escalate to appropriate stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely reporting of safety information to regulatory agencies and stakeholders.
- Oversee and maintain the company's pharmacovigilance database, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Participate in the development and implementation of drug safety processes and procedures to maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide drug safety expertise and support to other departments, such as clinical operations, medical affairs, and regulatory affairs.
- Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and guidelines related to drug safety and pharmacovigilance.
- Conduct periodic reviews of product labeling, including safety information, and make recommendations for updates as needed.
- Participate in the preparation and submission of safety reports to regulatory agencies and assist with any follow-up requests.
- Maintain a high level of quality and accuracy in all drug safety activities, ensuring patient safety is always the top priority.
- Assist with training and mentoring new drug safety team members as needed.
- Communicate with healthcare providers and patients as necessary to gather additional safety information and ensure timely reporting of adverse events.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of drug safety processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant regulations and guidelines, in all drug safety activities.
- Proactively identify and report any potential compliance issues or concerns to management.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Pharmacy, Biology, Or Chemistry.
Strong Understanding Of Pharmacovigilance Principles And Regulations.
Experience In Adverse Event Reporting And Case Processing.
Excellent Organizational And Analytical Skills, With Attention To Detail.
Ability To Work Collaboratively In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Team Environment.
