Responsibilities:
- Conduct and oversee clinical research studies in accordance with established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Design and implement scientific methodologies and data analysis plans for clinical research studies.
- Analyze and interpret data from clinical studies to draw meaningful conclusions and make recommendations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including medical, regulatory, and statistical colleagues to ensure the successful execution of clinical studies.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on scientific and clinical aspects of research projects.
- Keep abreast of latest developments in medical research and incorporate new techniques and technologies into study design and data analysis.
- Prepare and present study results to internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines governing clinical research.
- Participate in the development and review of study protocols, informed consent forms, and other study-related documents.
- Mentor and train junior research staff on scientific methodologies and data analysis techniques.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of study data and ensure data integrity.
- Contribute to the publication of study findings in scientific journals and presentations at conferences.
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to enhance the efficiency and quality of clinical research.
- Represent the company in scientific and academic conferences and meetings.
- Adhere to ethical standards in research and maintain patient confidentiality.
- Collaborate with external research partners and vendors to support clinical research initiatives.
Advanced Degree In A Relevant Field: A Clinical Research Scientist At Eli Lilly And Company Should Hold A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In A Scientific Discipline, Such As Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Or Medicine. An Advanced Degree Demonstrates A Strong Foundation In Scientific Principles And Research Methodologies.
