- Conduct research and development activities to design and optimize bioprocesses for the production of pharmaceutical products.
- Utilize knowledge of bioprocessing principles and techniques to develop innovative solutions for complex bioprocessing challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
- Design, plan, and execute experiments to evaluate and validate new processes, equipment, and technologies.
- Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and batch records.
- Monitor manufacturing processes and provide technical support to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in bioprocessing technology and provide recommendations for their integration into existing processes.
- Identify and assess risks associated with bioprocessing activities and develop mitigation strategies.
- Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on bioprocessing techniques and procedures.
- Communicate project updates and results to cross-functional teams, management, and external stakeholders.
- Participate in process validation studies and regulatory inspections as needed.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following company policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all relevant ethical, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
- Continuously evaluate and improve bioprocessing practices to increase efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
- Represent Eli Lilly and Company at industry conferences and events to showcase our bioprocessing capabilities.
Bachelor's Degree In Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Bioprocess Development Or Manufacturing, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry.
Strong Knowledge Of Bioreactor Design, Process Optimization, And Cgmp Guidelines.
Experience With Process Scale-Up And Technology Transfer From Research To Commercial Manufacturing.
Familiarity With Statistical Process Control And Data Analysis Software, Such As Jmp Or Minitab.
