  1. Conduct research and development activities to design and optimize bioprocesses for the production of pharmaceutical products.
  2. Utilize knowledge of bioprocessing principles and techniques to develop innovative solutions for complex bioprocessing challenges.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality products.
  4. Design, plan, and execute experiments to evaluate and validate new processes, equipment, and technologies.
  5. Develop and maintain process documentation, including standard operating procedures and batch records.
  6. Monitor manufacturing processes and provide technical support to ensure product quality and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  7. Stay current with industry trends and advancements in bioprocessing technology and provide recommendations for their integration into existing processes.
  8. Identify and assess risks associated with bioprocessing activities and develop mitigation strategies.
  9. Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians on bioprocessing techniques and procedures.
  10. Communicate project updates and results to cross-functional teams, management, and external stakeholders.
  11. Participate in process validation studies and regulatory inspections as needed.
  12. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by following company policies and procedures.
  13. Adhere to all relevant ethical, safety, and regulatory guidelines.
  14. Continuously evaluate and improve bioprocessing practices to increase efficiency, productivity, and product quality.
  15. Represent Eli Lilly and Company at industry conferences and events to showcase our bioprocessing capabilities.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Bioprocess Development Or Manufacturing, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Bioreactor Design, Process Optimization, And Cgmp Guidelines.

  • Experience With Process Scale-Up And Technology Transfer From Research To Commercial Manufacturing.

  • Familiarity With Statistical Process Control And Data Analysis Software, Such As Jmp Or Minitab.
