- Design and optimize bioprocesses for the production of pharmaceutical products.
- Conduct research and development to improve bioprocess efficiency and yield.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful scale-up and transfer of bioprocesses to manufacturing.
- Perform process characterization and validation studies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to bioprocessing.
- Stay current with industry advancements and incorporate new technologies and techniques into bioprocess development.
- Provide technical support and guidance to manufacturing teams during process implementation and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for bioprocesses.
- Support technology transfer activities and provide technical expertise to external partners.
- Participate in cross-functional project teams to advance product development and commercialization.
- Conduct process risk assessments and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and other regulatory standards.
- Document and analyze experimental data, and present findings to stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to enhance bioprocess efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Mentor and train junior team members on bioprocess engineering principles and techniques.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Chemical Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Biopharmaceutical Or Biotechnology Manufacturing Environment.
In-Depth Knowledge Of Bioprocess Technologies, Including Cell Culture, Fermentation, Purification, And Analytical Methods.
Experience With Process Development, Scale-Up, And Tech Transfer Of Biologic Drug Substances And Drug Products.
Strong Problem-Solving, Analytical, And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively In A Team Environment.
