- Develop and implement strategies for cloud vulnerability management to ensure the security of our organization's cloud infrastructure.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest cybersecurity trends and technologies to identify potential risks and proactively mitigate them.
- Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify potential vulnerabilities and provide recommendations for remediation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security best practices are implemented in all aspects of the organization's cloud operations.
- Serve as the subject matter expert on cloud security and provide guidance and support to other team members.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to identify and respond to potential security incidents.
- Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards related to cloud infrastructure.
- Conduct security awareness training for employees to promote a culture of security within the organization.
- Stay informed about industry regulations and compliance requirements and ensure the organization's adherence to them.
- Continuously assess and improve the organization's security posture through risk assessments and remediation efforts.
Extensive Knowledge Of Cloud Computing Security Principles: The Senior It Security Advisor Must Have A Deep Understanding Of Cloud Computing Security Principles And Best Practices. This Includes Knowledge Of Various Cloud Service Models (Iaas, Paas, Saas), Security Controls, And Industry Standards.
Experience With Vulnerability Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Background In Vulnerability Management, Including Experience With Vulnerability Assessment Tools And Techniques, Vulnerability Remediation Strategies, And Patch Management Processes.
Familiarity With Cloud Security Tools: Elevance Health Relies On A Variety Of Cloud-Based Tools And Services To Support Its Operations. The Senior It Security Advisor Must Have Experience With Common Cloud Security Tools Such As Aws Inspector, Azure Security Center, Or Google Cloud Security Command Center.
Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills: As A Senior It Security Advisor, Communication And Collaboration Are Critical To Success. The Candidate Should Have Experience Working With Cross-Functional Teams, Presenting Complex Technical Information To Non-Technical Stakeholders, And Collaborating With Vendors And Third-Party Partners.
Cissp Or Other Relevant Certifications: A Senior It Security Advisor Should Hold Relevant Industry Certifications Such As Certified Information Systems Security Professional (Cissp), Certified Cloud Security Professional (Ccsp), Or Certified Information Security Manager (Cism).
