  1. Conduct thorough investigations of potential healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse cases, utilizing various techniques and tools such as data analysis and interviews.
  2. Collaborate with other team members and departments to gather information and evidence for investigations.
  3. Develop investigative strategies and plans to effectively identify and prevent fraudulent activities.
  4. Utilize industry knowledge and expertise to identify red flags and potential risks.
  5. Review and analyze data to identify patterns and anomalies that may indicate fraudulent activities.
  6. Conduct interviews and gather statements from relevant parties involved in investigations.
  7. Prepare detailed reports and documentation of investigation findings.
  8. Present investigation findings and recommendations to management and other relevant stakeholders.
  9. Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices related to healthcare fraud, waste, and abuse.
  10. Provide training and education to other team members on fraud detection and prevention.
  11. Monitor and track investigation outcomes and ensure appropriate actions are taken.
  12. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of investigations.
  13. Continuously assess and improve investigative processes and procedures.
  14. Represent the organization in meetings and discussions related to fraud, waste, and abuse.
  15. Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for other team members and departments.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Conducting Complex Investigations In The Healthcare Industry.

  • Bachelor's Degree In A Related Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or Criminal Justice.

  • Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Healthcare Regulations And Compliance Requirements.

  • Strong Analytical And Critical Thinking Skills With The Ability To Identify And Solve Complex Problems.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Work Collaboratively With Multiple Stakeholders And Present Findings To Senior Leadership.
