
Referral and Resource Specialist
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Referral and Resource Specialist to join the team at Elevance Health. We are a full-service healthcare provider that offers an array of services to meet the needs of our patients. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality customer service to our patients by providing referrals and resources for medical, behavioral, and social services.The ideal candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to maintain good working relationships with external referral and resource providers. They must also have at least two years of experience in a customer service role and a Bachelor’s degree in a related field.We are looking for someone who is passionate about providing the highest level of customer service and is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain relationships with referral and resource providers to ensure the highest quality of service for our patients.
- Provide timely and accurate referrals and resources for medical, behavioral, and social services.
- Monitor and evaluate patient outcomes related to referrals and resources.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of available services and resources in the community.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to referral and resource services.
- Track and document all patient referrals and resources.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards and respond to patient inquiries in a timely manner.
- Assist in development of marketing material to promote referral and resource services.
- Assist with data collection and analysis to evaluate referral and resource services.
- Participate in educational and networking events to stay current with best practices in referral and resource services.
