Job Description

Welcome to Elevance Health, where we believe in delivering top-notch healthcare services to our clients. We are currently seeking a passionate Quality Improvement Consultant to join our team. As a Quality Improvement Consultant, you will be responsible for ensuring that our healthcare processes and services meet industry standards and continuously improve. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, analytical, and has a strong understanding of healthcare quality improvement. If you are a team player with excellent communication and problem-solving skills, we would love to have you on board.

  1. Develop and implement quality improvement strategies and initiatives to ensure that Elevance Health meets and exceeds industry standards for healthcare services.
  2. Conduct regular audits and reviews of our healthcare processes and services to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations for changes.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement quality improvement initiatives and ensure that all staff members are trained and accountable for maintaining high-quality standards.
  4. Utilize data and metrics to track the success of quality improvement initiatives and make adjustments as needed.
  5. Stay up-to-date on industry standards and best practices for healthcare quality improvement and incorporate them into our processes and services.
  6. Serve as a subject matter expert on healthcare quality improvement, providing guidance and support to colleagues and stakeholders.
  7. Communicate regularly with leadership and staff about current and upcoming quality improvement initiatives and their impact on our services.
  8. Identify potential risks and issues related to quality improvement and work proactively to address them.
  9. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging and supporting staff to identify and implement quality improvement ideas.
  10. Represent Elevance Health at industry conferences and events, sharing our success stories and learning from others in the field.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Or Business Administration.

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In A Healthcare Quality Improvement Role, Preferably In A Consulting Capacity.

  • Knowledge And Understanding Of Quality Improvement Methodologies And Tools, Such As Lean Six Sigma, Pdsa Cycles, And Root Cause Analysis.

  • Strong Project Management Skills And Ability To Lead Cross-Functional Teams To Drive Quality Improvement Initiatives.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Clients And Stakeholders At All Levels Within An Organization.
