Pharmacy Technician - Purchasing

We are seeking a motivated, organized, and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician – Purchasing for Elevance Health. In this role, you will be responsible for procuring, managing, and maintaining pharmacy supplies and materials in order to support the organization’s daily operations. To be successful, you must be able to work independently, think critically, and be able to effectively communicate with other departments. Responsibilities: • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors, and negotiate prices and terms of purchase • Create, manage, and monitor purchase orders for the pharmacy, including ordering, tracking, and receiving supplies and materials • Ensure the accuracy and timely delivery of all orders • Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure the smooth operation of daily operations • Monitor and analyze inventory levels and order new supplies as needed • Maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory levels • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies • Provide customer service to internal and external customers • Perform all other related duties as assigned
