The Patient Financial Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely processing of patient payments and collections, and will be the primary contact for all patient financial matters.Successful candidates will have a minimum of two years of experience in medical billing and collections, knowledge of medical coding, and experience with insurance companies. The ideal candidate will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to demonstrate a commitment to outstanding customer service. Responsibilities:

  1. Process patient payments and collections accurately and timely.
  2. Maintain records and documentation of all patient financial transactions.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies and other third-party payers.
  4. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and laws related to patient financial records.
  5. Provide excellent customer service to all patients.
  6. Respond to patient inquiries regarding billing and collections.
  7. Analyze and resolve billing and collection issues.
  8. Maintain knowledge of medical coding and other legal requirements related to patient financial matters.
  9. Prepare reports related to patient financial activities.
  10. Stay current with changes in the healthcare industry.
